Since 1986, Accueil aux immigrants de l’Est de Montréal (AIEM) has supported immigrants and their families throughout their settlement and integration journey in Québec.

The magazine Vision Croisée, published by the Accueil aux immigrants de l’Est de Montréal (AIEM), is looking for experienced volunteer journalists who wish to contribute to an editorial project that highlights immigration journeys in Québec.

Published four times per year, the magazine features portraits, stories, and articles that give a voice to newcomers and established immigrants. Its goal is to share inspiring stories, present different perspectives on immigration, and offer content that is both informative and engaging for readers.

To maintain a strong editorial standard, we are seeking individuals with prior experience in journalism or editorial writing who are able to produce well-structured and compelling articles.

Responsabilities
  • Conduct interviews with immigrants and community members
  • Write profiles and inspiring stories
  • Produce articles that are clear, engaging, and accessible to a broad audience
  • Contribute to strengthening the magazine’s editorial quality
Desired profile
  • Experience in journalism, writing, or editorial production
  • Strong french language writing and storytelling skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Interest in immigration issues and human stories

This role is intended for professionals who have previously held similar roles and who have the availability to contribute to a magazine published four times per year.
